Working with friends, on a beautiful day, in the city I love. Those conditions are hard to beat. But when you show the bride-to-be a shot off the back of your camera, and she says “I think that’s the best photo ever taken of me…ever…” Well, it’s hard not to walk away wishing every job was just like that.
Jen and Max are dear friends of mine who started out as colleagues, both to each other and to me, and being able to photograph and celebrate their upcoming nuptials was a true joy. Can’t wait to see these two tie the knot in February!
Remember Carrie and Jud, a.k.a. the most adorable parents-to-be of all time? Welp, a few months ago (and quite a bit earlier than expected!), they welcomed sweet Wyatt Joseph. As fate would have it, their need for some of their first family portraits perfectly coincided with my latest trip home, so they gave me the unique privilege of meeting the little guy and capturing the three of them at this incredibly special time.
I’ve always loved children and babies, and meeting Wyatt reaffirmed this ten times over. He is cutest, his parents are the cutest, and his brother, Parker the Pooch, is the cutest, too. This shoot was one of my most fulfilling to date!
